How Was Your Day? Did You Make It Count?

Wednesday Inspiration #12

Deprived of meaningful work, men and women lose their reason for existence; they go stark, raving mad.
-Fyodor Dostoevsky

The question is typical enough: “How was your day?” And we usually give a typical answer: Good. Stressful. Hectic. Busy. (Add your standard response here.)

My question to you: Was your day meaningful? brilliance

In a world that seems to move at the speed of light, it’s easy to try to measure your day by how much you have done. Things get ticked off your to do list (or not) and we use how successful we’ve been at doing things to judge our day.

But a larger question remains: Did you do anything meaningful?

Meaningful work requires passion. Meaningful work aligns with your purpose. And meaningful work brings prosperity – for you and others.

Coaching challenge: Strive for meaningful work and banish meaningless busyness.
